"PowerManager is the best iTunes alarm clock I've found. Unlike others, it reliably
wakes the computer because it is a system preference, not just an application. It
has the added bonus of gradually increasing the volume when it sounds. I highly
recommend it."

Real World Testing [5/5 stars]
"I've been real world testing this app in demo and registerd mode for over a month now travelling on a tight schedule. Although there are other similar apps, this one was worth registering because it's easy to use, it wakes the powerbook from sleep and gently wakes you up by increading volume."

"I've gone though a dozen alarm clock apps after Powermanager stopped working with Panther
and not one was even close to the functionality (reliably wake from sleep, ability to
start volume low and work up, not hogging dock space, etc etc). I was almost ready to
unretire that godforsaken clock radio of mine *shudder* Tested a few alarms and
PowerController works like a charm, just like the good old days! Thanks so much Keaka!"

"My physical alarm clock died a slow horrible death, so VT to the rescue. PowerController is a great app works as expected and does what it needs to do. The only thing that it really needs is its own icon that default preference pane icon starts to get redundant in my prefpane after a few apps that are great but don't have a distinguishable icon. I would recommed this too anyone who needs to be up and wants to make sure it will happen!...."

"This is the first Mac alarm clock that I've seen that allows wake-from-sleep to be an automatic feature - no separate settings needed to wake a sleeping Mac just before alarm time. Implementation by preference pane seems to be the way to go It's one of those very few shareware pieces that I'm ready to pay for after only one day of demo mode. Could use a few bells and whistles, like a 'Now' button in the time-setter, but as is PowerController is a virtually perfect combination of the essentials."
